Hashimoto’s is the most common cause of hypothyroidism (underactive thyroid). About 90% of all underactive thyroid cases have an autoimmune element, whereby the immune system attacks the thyroid gland, impairing thyroid function and its ability to produce thyroid hormones.

Multiple factors can contribute to thyroid dysfunction.  My approach is to investigate and  address  the following:
